GRILLED JALAPENOS 9-19-09 Top of page
Cut jalapenos in half and remove the seeds. Stuff each pepper half with cream cheese and garlic. Wrap each pepper with a slice of bacon. Grill.
FOX'S GRILLED HOT WINGS 9-19-09
50 chicken wings, thawed and rinsed,
place in a ziploc
1-2 bottles of Paul Newman's olive
oil and vinegar
1 heaping tbsp. old el paso green
chili's
Mix. Remove air and seal. Refrigerate for 2 hours, turning every so often.
Melt half stick of unsalted butter in a glass saucepan and add:
1/2 - 3/4 bottle louisiana habanero pepper sauce
1-2 tbsps. thai garlic chili pepper
sauce
1-2 tbsps. cajun sunshine hot sauce
1-2 tbsps. chalulu hot sauce
Remove wings from marinade. Grill on medium heat for 45 minutes. Turn wings every 10 minutes. Pour sauce into a bowl and add the wings, coating them completely.
HERKY'S FAMOUS FIRE STICKS 9-19-09
1 1/2 pounds sirloin steak
3 beef bouillon cubes
1 tbsp. water
3 heaping tsps. cayenne pepper
1 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. kosher salt
2 tbsps. vegetable oil
Night before serving, cut steak into half inch cubes. In a large bowl, crumble boullion into water and stir until thick paste is formed. Stir in cayenne pepper, black pepper and salt. Add meat and toss until coated. Skewer meat onto wooden skewers. Place in a plastic container or gallon size freezer bag. Heat grill, brush skewers with oil. Place skewers on the grill, cook 2-3 minutes per side.
NO MESS ATOMIC WINGS 9-19-09
Night before the game, soak wings
in a 1/2 bottle of liquid smoke.
2 tbsps. garlic juice
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
full size drumsticks or wings
Put into tupperware and add ingredients. Refrigerate overnight.
5 parts garlic salt
1 part cayenne pepper
1/2 part cumin
1/2 part chili powder
1/2 part curry powder
1/2 part paprika
1/2 black pepper
Put into shaker with large holes. Put chicken on the grill and cover the chicken with it. Put on medium heat and spray with water periodically and keep sprinkling with dry spice mix to coat the chicken.
BUFFALO CHICKEN DIP 9-19-09
1 1/2 pounds cooked chicken, diced
3/4 cup diced onion
1 1/2 cups diced celery
2 oz. cream cheese
1 cup bleu cheese dressing
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
12 oz. bottle red hot sauce
Saute onion and celery until glossy and softened. Add cream cheese, bleu cheese, hot sauce and stir until melted. Remove from heat. Add diced chicken and mix well. Add cheddar cheese and mix. Pour into baking dish and bake 30 minutes at 350°.

Clean and soak seeds in salt water. Spread out on newspaper to dry. Spray with olive oil, season and slow roast in a 250° oven.
SNACK JACK pumpkin seeds are completely edible.
PUMPKIN BARS 9-26-09
4 eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup oil
1 cup brown sugar
2 cups mashed pumpkin
2 cups flour
2 tsps. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
2 tsps. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup chopped nuts, optional
Blend eggs and oil. Add brown sugar. Add pumpkin and dry ingredients. Bake 20-30 minutes at 350°. Frost with cream cheese frosting.
CREAM CHEESE FROSTING 9-26-09
8 oz. cream cheese
5 tbsps. butter
2 tsps. vanilla
4 cups powdered sugar
Mix together.

TOMATO BASIL SOUP (7-4-09) 9-26-09
4 cups chopped, ripe tomatoes
1 1/2 cups onions, minced
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
4 tbsps. butter
4 tbsps. flour
4 cups milk
1 cup fresh basil, finely chopped
Simmer tomatoes with onion, salt and pepper for 10 minutes. Add basil. Melt butter and stir in flour. Add milk. Cook until desired thickness.
